Fashion designer Cristina Tridente has tied the knot in the “dress of her dreams” on the Italian coast.

Less than a fortnight after her Adelaide nuptials, Ms Tridente and longtime love Petar Filipovic exchanged vows for a second time in front of family and friends in Positano, on the Amalfi Coast.

The couture+love+madness founder teamed up with top Adelaide artist Tiziana Rinna for her dress, a fully handpainted gown inspired by Ms Tridente’s Italian heritage.

“The dress is adorned with symbols and words that have special meanings to our family and heritage,” she captioned a series of wedding photos posted to social media.

“I look forward to sharing more of the process behind our dress, we collaborated with artist @tizianarinna to paint the dress of my dreams!”

Ms Tridente said that the dress took over 120 hours of painting, 50 hours of sewing, 1000s of beads, and 25 metres of fabric to complete.

Ms Rinna attended the nuptials, held at the luxurious Hotel Marincanto overlooking the water, and described the dress as a “sheer masterpiece” which took four months to create.

“Every brushstroke was carefully crafted to bring her vision to life, blending art, fashion and personal storytelling in this one-of-a-kind gown,” she wrote on Instagram.

“It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I’m beyond excited to finally share it with you all.”

In late August, the happy couple tied the knot for the first time in Adelaide.

They exchanged vows at Jackson Square in Hindmarsh, before celebrating with a stunning reception at Out in the Paddock’s Soho Supper Club on Festival Plaza.

Ms Tridente designed the four outfits she wore during the day, and said the day was “absolutely spectacular”.

I couldn’t decide what I wanted to make for my wedding dress so I actually did four changes which was super fun and exciting,” said Ms Tridente of her dresses, which ranged from a traditional ballgown to a mini-dress.

They were engaged in June last year while holidaying in Japan. Mr Filipovic popped the question at Tokyo Disneyland, proposing with a stunning engagement ring created by Adelaide’s Laura Lediaev from Ezara Fine Jewellery.

Ms Tridente has made hundreds of wedding gowns for clients and custom designs for celebrities, including Sam Smith, Dannii Minogue, Julia Morris, the Governor of South Australia, Frances Adamson and the Christmas Pageant’s royal family.

Most recently, she dressed Jules Sebastian at the 2024 Logie Awards.
