Mariners Ristorante

Introducing Mariners Ristorante, Adelaide’s newest Italian-inspired restaurant located in North Haven. This exclusive waterfront restaurant offers a seafood-focused menu inspired by authentic Italian heritage. Head chef Camillo Crugnale’s dishes are influenced by his mother’s home cooking, promising an exceptional and unforgettable journey into fine Italian cuisine.

Rosa Mexicano

Glenelg has a new family-friendly restaurant, with the newly opened Rosa Mexicano offering true Latina street eats. Think bright and colourful interiors, traditional Mexican fare and colour-popping cocktails. Located next to The Moseley, the drawcard here is also the kids’ menu, with baby burrito, corn fries and quesadilla all on offer. For the adults, try the Mexican Tingle cocktail.

Lucky Dumpling & Noodle

Nestled in North Adelaide, Lucky Dumpling & Noodle is a new cosy Asian eatery offering up a Malaysian hawker-inspired menu. Influenced by owner Mr. Khaw’s upbringing in South East Asia, the menu focuses on shareable dishes, including dumplings and noodles. With high bar-style seating surrounding an open-plan kitchen, you can watch as the chefs hand-roll your fresh dumpling dinner or lunch.

La Louisiane

La Louisiane has seen a dormant heritage site be transformed into a chic French restaurant. Since opening in early Jily, it’s become an instant hit at weekends since. Offering the finest French fare, including traditional French snails, a specialised cocktail list, and lively jazz band on weekends, this underground Parisian-style pop-up restaurant is decadent – and also only available until early December. Walk ins only.

Abbots and Kinney

More cafe than restaurant, Abbots and Kinney opened at the end of July within the $220m new office tower, 60 King William Street. This is more than your standard bakehouse. Slick and sophisticated interiors, with funky booths. You’ll also enjoy some of the city’s very best pastries, croissants and fantastic coffee.

Adelaide’s best new restaurants and bars to open in 2023 so far

Plus 82 Gogi Goodwood

Goodwood has welcomed a new Korean BBQ restaurant in the shape of Plus 82 Gogi.

It’s the fifth Asian-influenced eatery offering from the team behind the ever-popular Gogi, found in the city.

Here you’ll find an extensive selection of Soju, edgy street-style interiors, and Korean sizzle dishes, including a premium honeycomb pork belly that’s a standout.
