ALDI shoppers, get your elbows ready coz you're going to need them more than you did during those epic snow gear sales.

The bargain German supermarket, who recently caused a frenzy over their Mecca beauty dupe, has just announced in their latest newsletter catalogue that a giant inflatable basketball court is coming to stores.

And it's the perfect time for parents to stock up now for Christmas!

Inflatable toys for kids have been a huge trend for a few years now, and if you have been impressed by the massive water parks and jumping castles you can nab and bring out each time there's a backyard bash happening at your place, you're going to love the store's latest offering.

Retailing at $269, the basketball court is ideal for children three years and over. Not only will it guarantee hours of fun, but it also promises not to be a huge punish for parents installing it, either.

According to the website description, setup is easy and takes "minutes" to inflate with the air blower attachment. It also packs up neatly making storing it an absolute dream.

The item will hit the store's middle aisle on Saturday October 28th, so get those elbows ready coz all feedback tells us it will be a sell-out.

"Are they for real? Who actually thinks of these things? It's bloody awesome," one mum cheered to Kidpsot.

"Oh that's epic, my three-year-old son would love that," another added.

"Can you imagine Christmas day? We won't see the kids at all!" laughed another.

But while most were excited to get their hands on one, others were concerned about the high price tag.

"I'm always hesitant to spend that much for something that might pop after two uses," one dad shared.

But another had a great point: "The cost of entertaining kids at parties these days is ridiculous. You'll only need to use this once and you've already got your money back!"

As usual with special buys, the item will be on shelves while stocks last, so if you're not lining up on the day of the sale or haven't planned on sending a family member along, you might have some explaining to do come Christmas day!
