Veteran netball coach fighting bowel cancer

SCOTT Waddington has four children, four grandchildren and a “little baby” – his netball coaching. But the veteran Premier League mentor had been forced to step away from the sidelines for the past month while he battles bowel cancer.

Coach’s brain cancer battle inspires soccer club

SHANE Hillman’s two-year battle with terminal brain cancer has inspired Para Hills Knights, where he is a much-loved junior coach. This Saturday, the soccer club is hosting a special day for the 52-year-old.
