Sephora has been keeping Adelaide waiting for a second store, but its fans are going to be more than happy to kiss and make-up with the global cosmetics giant.
Hundreds are expected to queue outside the new shop at Westfield Marion – where Sephora’s retail rival Mecca also has a presence – before it opens on Wednesday, October 16.
In the lead up, Sephora has given The Advertiser an exclusive sneak peek at the store’s fit-out and stock, which includes its own range, Fenty by Rihanna and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty.
While Sephora fans have been begging for a second store for some time, its arrival comes five years after a flagship store opened in Rundle Mall in October 2019.
Spanning 447sq m, the store will have 20 staff.
It will begin trading at 9am, but will launch from 7am with a pre-opening party. There will be DJs, beauty stations and sample giveaways.
Sephora is expecting shoppers be eager to be first in line.
When the Rundle Mall store opened the queue stretched 300m, with some in it camping out overnight to secure their spot.
The first 10 people in line at Sephora, Westfield Marion, will be invited to shop before the crowds. The first 600 will also get a goodie bag.
