IF YOU fancy having the whole country watch you shower and sleep in the ultimate TV soap opera, then your time has arrived.

More than 3000 people are expected to flow through Melbourne Park this weekend as part of a nationwide audition tour for the latest series of Big Brother.

Producers of the reality show, back for a third year on Channel 9, have started putting Melbourne’s weird and wonderful characters through their paces.

Three stages of auditions will be held this weekend so the producers can find the right mix of kooky extroverts and shy nerds.

Potential housemates were thrown into group activities and grilled on current issues, including the location of the ill-fated Malaysia Airlines flight and their thoughts on dating app Tinder.

Frankston’s Skie Oborne, 24, said MH370 was in the Bermuda Triangle but she was stumped by Tinder.

“What the hell is Tinder?” she asked.

But before she walked through the audition room doors, she said Big Brother would be a “life-changing experience” and she wanted to meet new people and throw herself into the competition.

Katrina Rakonic, 24, of Hoppers Crossing said she wanted to “make people laugh” if she made it on to the reality TV show, while Springvale’s Claudia Surkadan, 18, hoped to “fall in love”.

Dylan Ryan, 23, pledged to bring his “comedy, wit and enthusiasm” to the Big Brother house.

“I want to be famous,” the Upwey man said.

Self-proclaimed Big Brother devotee Emma Monkivitch, 18, said it was her lifelong dream to appear on the show.

“Ever since I was like 10 I’ve wanted to be on Big Brother,” the Lovely Banks teen said.

“I think it would be a good life experience.”
