Superstar singer Tones and I to play Mount Gambier show following community campaign

International pop sensation Tones and I is coming to Mount Gambier as the Australian singer- songwriter announces eight pop-up shows across regional towns.

The ARIA award-winning singer has been performing rural pop-up shows at the requests of vocal fans for sometime and last week noise from Mount Gambier caught the superstar’s attention.

A community campaign launched by Mount Gambier’s Globe Hotel and Jen’s Hotel to get Tones and I to perform in Mount Gambier was shared by Limestone Coast Community News and caught the eye of the singer, who shared the post to her Facebook page with a teasing “what is this …”.

On Thursday night, the singer announced eight new pop-up shows coming to Warrnambool, Mount Gambier, Mildura, Temora, Tumut, Wagga Wagga, Bathurst and Hervey Bay during October.

The Mount Gambier show will take place on Saturday, October 5, with a time and venue to be announced and for all-ages tickets going on sale next week.
