Sam Frost films for Home And Away after vaccine controversy

Sam Frost isn’t yet vaccinated but the soap star was spotted filming for Home And Away on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Sam Frost breaks down revealing she is unvaccinated

Sam Frost will finish off the year filming TV soap Home And Away before being vaccinated.

The popular actor this month announced she would be having the jab after sparking outrage when revealing on social media she was holding off on the Covid vaccine and compared public backlash to those unvaccinated as “segregation”.

Earlier this month, the actor, who plays Jasmine, said she would be having a medical procedure in January and would not be fully vaccinated until mid to late February.

The Daily Telegraph understands Frost made the announcement as staff at Channel 7 had been given a deadline of this week to make a decision on vaccination.

A leaked email from Seven West Media director of production at the end of October stated that the company had a fully vaxxed or no-work mandate to all staff.

Last week, Frost took to Instagram to address her situation.

“I will be written out temporarily, Jazzy is going on an off-screen adventure for a few weeks. but I’ll be back,” she wrote.

“My bosses are amazing, we’ve been in open communication for months. Very grateful we were able to make a plan that works for everyone.”

Home And Away wraps shooting for the year a week out from Christmas with cameras to roll again around mid-January.

Frost will return a month or so later.

On Monday, Frost was seen smiling as she filmed scenes for the popular daily TV drama.

She was joined by fellow cast members Nicholas Cartwright, Jacqui Purvis and Luke Vanos.

Harley Bonner, who supported Frost in questioning vaccine mandates on social media, was also on set.
