An expansive Adelaide foothills property, an abundance of white flowers and a drop-dead gorgeous dress have made Travis Head and Jessica Davies’ lavish wedding one to remember.
A video posted to Instagram by @staceymcleanweddings captures the glamorous ceremony between the Adelaide-born international cricket star and his partner Davies at Carrick Hill over the weekend.
The Australian and Adelaide Strikers batsman tied the knot with partner Davies on Saturday.
The pair posted photos of their special day on Instagram.
“And I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life, as your wife reminding you of how incredible you are,” Davies said in an Instagram post.
Davies chose Perth-founded Pallas Couture for her risqué wedding gown with a detachable overskirt.
“Congratulations to our beautiful bride @jessdaviess who married Australian Cricketer Travis Head in Adelaide over weekend,” the exclusive designer posted on Instagram.
To look dapper on the day, Head wore a black tux from MJ Bale.
Friend Samatha Allwright captured the moments before the celebrity wedding with the bride.
“The most perfect bride; so honoured to stand by your side as you married the love of your life,” Allwright wrote on Instagram.
“Could not have been a more perfect day!”
The couple became engaged in 2021.
“It was such a beautiful day and a beautiful surprise”, Davies – who has her own business, J’Adore Home – told Confidential at the time, adding: “We’re very happy!”.
“Most amazing day of my life! Asked my best friend to spend the rest of our lives together,” wrote Head – who has represented Australia at Test, One-Day and T20 level – after the engagement.
Head and Davies met while they were studying at Trinity College in Gawler where he was born: “Thank you mum & dad. The best thing to come out of school,” the cricket star said.
