Olivia Rogers has had a week of ‘moments’ in the wake of her devastating split from husband Justin McKeone.
Instead of wallowing in the aftermath of her marriage breakdown after seven months, the former Miss Universe Australia has made the spotlight her own.
With her stylist Paul Versace from Styled by Bloom, she has slayed event dressing.
“She’s been the moment,’’ Versace said.
“The amount of messages people have sent her and I, has been really overwhelming. She’s on a style journey and she’s doing her and living her best life.”
Rogers first stepped out a month ago in the midst of marriage trouble at the VRC gala ball in a yellow gown by Oglia-Loro Couture.
After confirming her separation she was a standout in black Bianca and Bridgett at the fashion brand’s new collection launch in Queensland.
This week she has been hard to miss, stepping out in orange by Helen O’Connor and then next level in a pink tulle gown by Cappellazzo Couture at David Jones’ reimagined black tie event on Wednesday night.
In between she’s spoken on a Geelong Women’s Business Club panel, wearing a white Bianca and Bridgett suit, and looked radiant in a Runaway the label dress when out for dinner.
McKeone has also been getting on with life, seen at popular Bar Bambi last weekend.
He has deleted most pictures of the pair from his Instagram with both unfollowing each other. She revealed on Sunday that he has taken their beloved dog Ziggy.
“Wearing a good outfit definitely helps your confidence,’’ Rogers said.
“It has been a hard time, but I am getting there.”
Many at the David Jones event were heard muttering “she won’t be single for long” … she’s certainly found love with the fashion set.
