Olivia Frazer has revealed she lost her job as a “direct result” of her time on MAFS, saying she’s “more hated than Vladimir Putin in Australia”.

Alessandra Rampolla has some stern words for Olivia (MAFS)

Married At First Sight bride Olivia Frazer has opened up about the fallout of her controversial appearance on the Channel 9 social experiment, revealing she’s lost her job as a “direct result” of the show.

Speaking on 2Day’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin, Olivia also said she feels “more hated than Vladimir Putin in Australia” because of how many people have demanded she face criminal charges over circulating a naked photo of another contestant.

It comes after the 27-year-old was lambasted by the MAFS experts and viewers for admitting she had “no empathy” towards rival bride Domenica Calarco, who she distributed naked photos of from a secret OnlyFans account in what many saw as an act of revenge triggered by Dom smashing a wine glass.

Opening up about the intense backlash from the saga, the reality star said she was “a shell of a person”, thanking husband Jackson Lonie for his support.

“I’ve already lost my job as a direct result of this show,” she told the hosts, prompting them to ask if she had any regrets for going on the show.

“I don’t as I’ve got some beautiful girlfriends from it … and I don’t, as I’ve got Jackson,” she said.

Olivia went on to explain why she’d taken herself off social media, referencing an online petition set up by viewers to have legal action taken against her for the nude photo scandal.

“I don’t know if I’ll ever go back online in a social media way,” she said

“I saw that petition, and it’s like – more people have signed a petition to have me arrested than to end the war in Ukraine. In Australia I feel like I’m more hated than Vladimir Putin.

“I hate that I’m the priority, that’s ridiculous.”

While the MAFS petition has raked in nearly 124,000 signatures on Change.org, over 2.7 million people are currently supporting the 46 ‘Stand with Ukraine’ petitions on the site.

Olivia copped a wave of backlash during the show, with husband Jackson standing by her side through her own confessions she’s a “petty b*tch” and has “no empathy” for others.

The plumber has joined Olivia for several radio interviews in which he has fiercely defended her, claiming she got a bad edit.

“If you look at our whole story, they haven’t filmed us doing anything nice. I planned a massive thing for Liv at our home stay. It was really cute and beautiful and they’ve changed it all to not look good for poor old Liv.”

Speaking on radio today, Olivia praised Jackson for his unwavering support.

“I’m a shell of a person, honestly.

“Thank God for Jackson, as I would not have survived this without him, and my mum and brother. It’s been hell.”
