MAFS Australia 2022: Crushing blow for Olivia after final dinner party blow up

After Olivia aired another couple’s dirty laundry at the show’s final dinner party, viewers were ruthless when the MAFS bride appeared to get her just desserts.

In what will come as no surprise to a seasoned fan of Married At First Sight, the series final dinner party was filled with drama.

In an attempt to help the couples form up their decisions in the lead up to the final commitment ceremony, the experts asked them to participate in the Honesty Box Challenge. The activity saw each couple forced to answer pre-written questions aimed at digging into each couple’s pain points.

Domenica Calarco appeared to pause and falter when Jack Millar asked her: “Do you see longevity in this relationship?”

Finally, she said: “If I’m thinking long term … I always had doubts”. Her response understandably left Jack shattered.

“I know how she sees me, she knows how I see her,” he said.

Series villain, Olivia Frazer also appeared to get her just desserts. Earlier on in the episode, she revealed to the dinner party that Domenica complained Jack that “couldn’t f**k her right because he c*ms too quickly”.

However, the dramatic bride look visibly upset when Jackson Lonie admitted her feelings were probably stronger than his.

“Do you think my feelings for you are stronger than your feelings for me?” asked Olivia.

Responding to her, Jackson said: “To be perfectly honest. I do think your feelings are stronger at this point”.

His answer notably left Olivia rattled.

“I don’t know if he’s worried how I’d fit into his real life,” she told cameras.

“I don’t see a future without him at this point.

“It would be a massive heartbreak.”

On Twitter, viewers showed little sympathy towards the MAFS villain.

The upcoming week will see the couples choose whether to recommit to their partners in the final vows.

This comes as an online petition was recently launched which called for the Married At First Sight cast to get access to their Instagram accounts two weeks after the show, as has been customary in previous scenes. Due to the series’ international rollout however, reports suggested Channel 9 would be retaining their control of the contestant’s social media channel until May.

Organised by publicist and celebrity manager Mark Markson, it argued the brides and grooms should be allowed to cash in on their reality TV fame, for the sake of their “mental health and bank balance”.

“Poor MAFS 2022 personalities are not allowed access to their Instagram until May or beyond! This is a petition to ask Channel 9 to politely ‘Let my people go!’,” the petition’s description read.

“Just as Moses asked Pharaoh in Egypt in the Bible, please Channel 9, let MAFS stars enjoy the interaction with their thousands of followers.

“It’s Instagram purgatory and un-Australian not to allow them interaction with their followers and be praised, lauded and earn money from paid posts.”
