With the eyes of the world watching, Tilda Cobham-Hervey and Dev Patel are happy to be seen in a less-is-more look on the red carpet.
The intensely private actors, who love to spend their downtime in her hometown Adelaide, were among guests at the British Academy Film Awards staged at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
They were surrounded by glitz and glamour.
Demi Moore dazzled in a rainbow-coloured sequined number by Alexander McQueen.
Ariana Grande strutted out in Louis Vuitton dress with a daring plunging V-neck and puffed ruched pale pink skirt.
Even make-up free Pamela Anderson wore an eye-catching off-the-shoulder white gown with a long train.
In contrast, Cobham-Hervey, who is currently starring in Netflix’s No. 1 show in Australia wellness fraud drama Apple Cider Vinegar, chose an elegant long black gown with simple spaghetti straps.
With little make-up, besides a bold red lip to highlight her beaming smile, she wore her glossy bob parted in the middle and tucked behind her ears.
Cobham-Hervey’s partner of close to a decade, Patel opted for a classic black tuxedo with a velvet bow tie.
The two, who met in 2016 on the set of Hotel Mumbai, were one of a handful of couples on the red carpet, which Kylie Jenner skipped.
Jenner, who made a name for herself on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, was spotted seated beside her beau Timothee Chalamet after she reportedly snuck into the awards.
