Footy fans who missed out on a ticket to watch the Crows or Power during AFL’s Gather Round have another chance to secure their spot at Adelaide Oval.

A new entertainment space, The Pepsi Collective, in the stadium’s Magarey Room, has been launched for the Festival of Footy in April, offering a reserved seat on level 3, plus access to lounges and bars overlooking Adelaide’s city skyline.

Aussie music duo The Presets and a rotating roster of DJs, including Adelaide’s own DJ Minx, will perform and entertain guests as part of the new zone.

Eight of the nine Gather Round matches are completely sold out, with tickets only available for the Sunday afternoon clash between Collingwood and Hawthorn.

About 700 tickets have been made available for each of the four days in the Pepsi Collective area, which is aimed at those over the age of 18.

AFL customer and commercial executive general manager Kylie Rogers said the new experience would be one of the hottest tickets in town during the second edition of Gather Round, which will be held from April 4 to 7.

“Creating new and exciting ways for guests to enjoy our game is a key focus for us and we can’t wait to deliver four days of unforgettable experiences for new and existing fans,” she said.

Port Adelaide supporter Bek Simpson, 31, of Brompton, said she’s excited to watch her boys play during Gather Round.

“The Pepsi Collective is going to be the place to be... as a big Port girl I can’t wait to watch them from the new space and celebrate,” she said.

It comes after the AFL announced a new concert, headlined by Aussie rockers Jet and indigenous rapper Baker Boy, will close the Festival of Footy.

The free show, Gather Live, will be held on Adelaide Oval No. 2. following the final match of the round between the Magpies and the Hawks, on Sunday, April 7.

Tickets for The Pepsi Collective will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, 1:30pm Adelaide time through Ticketek.
