Popular Hindley Street nightclub, Mr Kim’s will reopen on Saturday night after being saved by mystery buyers.
The location, which originally opened in 2013, was listed for sale earlier this year after quietly closing their doors in 2023.
Best known for playing RNB and hip-hop music, Mr Kim’s was previously owned by the Crippen Place team who also own venues Electric Circus and Rocket Bar and Rooftop.
Crippen Place co-owner, Paul Glen tragically died in hospital in October.
Jake Phillips, who continues to run the remaining Crippen Place venues, shared a heartfelt tribute online to his colleague and “best friend” after his death.
“Paul was a man who connected hundreds if not thousands of people with an institution he built from the ground up,” Mr Phillips said.
“Paul transformed Adelaide’s night-life scene with his four-level complex.”
Mr Phillips was contacted by The Advertiser and did not wish to comment on the identity of Mr Kim’s buyers.
The club relaunched their Instagram page on Tuesday with a video announcing its return.
“This Saturday 7/12. Mr Kim’s returns with electrifying vibes, epic beats and unforgettable nights,” the caption said.
A spokesman from Mr Kim’s confirmed that patrons can expect to see the same club that closed last year with no renovations or interior changes being made to the space.
The spokesman did not wish to confirm the business name of the new owners.
The club will be open every Friday and Saturday from 10pm till late.
