Greg Blewett to return to Triple M Rush Hour alongside James Brayshaw, while Billy Brownless attends daughter Ruby’s wedding
A former top-rating drivetime presenter is back on radio this week as his old Rush Hour co-host talks about the ‘dark’ times following their show’s brutal axing.

Axed Triple M Rush Hour co-host Greg Blewett will make a surprise return to the drivetime show as he launches a podcast with former colleague Andrew Jarman.
Blewett will join James Brayshaw on the new Rush Hour program on Wednesday and Thursday, filling in for Billy Brownless who will be attending his daughter Ruby’s wedding in Queensland.
There won’t be any chemistry issues between Blewett and Brayshaw, who are former South Australian cricket teammates and very good friends.
It comes less than six months after it was announced that Triple M had dumped Adelaide’s top-rating drivetime program, featuring Blewett, Jarman and Bernie Vince, in favour of the Melbourne-based Rush Hour co-hosted by Brayshaw and Brownless.
That show is now heard weekdays in Adelaide and regional SA, as well as Melbourne, Hobart and Perth.
Vince has since joined Emma Georgiadis on the breakfast program of sister station SAFM, taking over from Mark Soderstrom and Rebecca Morse.
Meanwhile, Blewett and Jarman today launched their new weekly podcast, Blewey and Jars Uncut.
Jarman revealed he had experienced some “dark periods” in the aftermath of the Rush Hour’s axing, but he was excited to finally be back on-air.
“(I’ve been) trying to find myself. There was some dark periods out there where I had to just navigate my way through... you’ve been very supportive with your lovely family and my beautiful Maz (wife Marion) and my kids,” he told Blewey.
“I was just trying to find out where I go next and where I’m moving towards. What’s out there calling me?
“God, it feels good. It feels good to be back behind the mic.”
Blewey and Jars Uncut will be available every Tuesday on Spotify and Apple.
