A fan among the packed G Flip concert in Adelaide had to be rescued from the crowd after passing out mid performance.
Aussie sensation G Flip kicked off their Hindley Street Music Hall concert on Friday night, which pulled in a huge Adelaide fan base.
The Melbourne-born musician has recently dominated Triple J’s Hottest 100, with their About Us debut album gaining over 180 million streams to date.
They also debuted at #1 on the ARIA vinyl charts and #6 on Album charts, with Adelaide fans flocking to the Hindley St venue to hear their smashing hits live.
A concertgoer at the Friday night gig said one fan had passed out during the show, but G Flip kept the calm from stage ensuring they were quickly removed from the crowd by security.
The video footage shows people forming a circle around the person who had passed out, as other crowd members created a pathway to exit the floor.
“After that G Flip made sure to check back in on the crowd and made sure everyone was OK (while) the lights were on,” the concertgoer told The Advertiser.
“They (G Flip) parted the crowd and got everyone to shine torches around, and made the whole front row pass water back to anyone who might need it.”
She said the show continued once safe to do so, with G Flip’s wife – Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause – spotted dancing and waving to fans from her bird’s eye view above the dance floor.
The US reality show favourite shared a video of herself dancing up a storm at Gilbert Place bar Shotgun Willie’s on Thursday night.
“I’m all the way in Australia, and all of a sudden, (this) Kentucky girl is in a southern bar in Australia. So I’m teaching everyone how to line dance,” she said in the Instagram story before busting a move with a local.
