First look at Olivia Rogers’ hot exclusive design for TOAST Society

Famous for being the 2017 Miss Universe Australia, Adelaide’s Olivia Rogers is now making a name for herself as a designer for one of the nation’s hottest brands, TOAST Society.

Rogers has collaborated with TOAST Society founders, Adelaide sisters Georgie and Alex Babyska, on a limited-edition pink mid-length puffer jacket with a drawstring waist.

“I absolutely loved being part of the design process. It was new to me, but the TOAST girls (Georgie and Alex) made it very easy,” Rogers, who is a mental health advocate and speech pathologist, said.

“I knew what I wanted the puffer to look like and it has turned out exactly as I hoped.”

Founded in Adelaide four years ago, TOAST Society’s “edgy, cool and stylish toasty-warm” puffer jackets have 50 stockists in Australia and New Zealand, including David Jones.

The brand is also making inroads in the US, where it has more than 20 stockists. By the end of the year, major US department store Bloomingdales will sell TOAST Society in its New York City flagship store and online.

“Each year we are consistently seeing over a 50 per cent increase in our online sales, which keeps us very busy,” Alex Babyska said. “We now employee six staff in our Adelaide warehouse-studio, contract a digital marketing agency, a sales agency, a PR team and also a pick and packing team in Sydney.”
