A KANGAROO and a German Shepherd have shaped up and thrown down in New South Wales. That is, until local police broke it up.
The duo came head-to-head in the Snowy Mountains earlier this week, and were captured on camera by Anthony Hartley — who shared the footage on YouTube.
They exchange a few blows, before an epic game of tag as the kangaroo tried to catch its noisy nemesis.
According to a Seven News report, the dog’s owner was standing by while the tussle was underway — but he cannot be seen in Hartley’s footage.
The showdown ends when a local police officer shows up and separates the two with a stick.
“I was just driving through on the way back from the snow,” Hartley told Seven News.
“I saw a kangaroo and a German Shepherd have a bit of a scuffle for about 20 minutes, until the police broke it up.”
The footage has been watched more than 20,000 times since it was uploaded on June 11.
