Hugh Jackman is treading the boards in Adelaide-crafted R.M. Williams boots as part of the brand’s new advertising campaign, Undeniable Character.

The Hollywood star is the boots’ new global ambassador and these images will be used to showcase the iconic brand to a worldwide audience.

“Undeniable Character, to me, is all about having grit, tenacity, determination and a pioneering spirit — and it’s all of those things that you get a sense of when you pull on a pair of R.M. Williams boots,” Jackman said.

“It’s time for people across the world to share that experience.”

Launching today across Australia, the US, UK and New Zealand, the campaign also includes a video advertisement narrated by Jackman, discussing the number of steps an average person takes throughout their lifetime — 216,262,500.

Jackman ends the video by walking on stage and saying: “It’s not the number of steps that matter. It’s where they take you.”

The Greatest Showman star will be wearing custom-made R.M. boots during his upcoming stage show world tour which, fittingly, includes Adelaide on the schedule.

Hugh will perform hit songs from many of his Broadway shows and popular film musicals including The Greatest Showman, The Boy From Oz and Les Miserables — accompanied on stage by a live orchestra — in the new production, which is coming to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on August 10 and 11.
