Mel Greig rejects rumours romantically linking her with Dan Ewing

MEL Greig has dismissed magazine reports she’s become romantically involved with newly single former Home And Away star Dan Ewing.
The former Adelaide radio presenter says the pair are just “close friends”, rejecting rumours in New Idea suggesting they have become a couple following Dan’s recent split with his wife Marni.
“Dan and I are close friends, his family stayed with me a couple of weeks ago including Marni, who is a mutual friend. I still hold hope that they will reconcile. Dan and I have a mutually supportive friendship and he has a big year ahead of him,” Mel tells Confidential.
Dan also took to Twitter, writing: “Well there you have it. Denied. Disproved. False. Happy Monday people. :)”
Now based in Wollongong, Mel has also announced there is no hope of a reunion with her ex, former SANFL player Steven Pollock. When asked on Monday if there was any prospect of them getting back together Mel told Ten morning show Studio 10: “No chance of reconciliation at all. We’re saying never.”
At the time of the break-up about five weeks ago, Mel said she hoped they could rekindle their marriage.
