An Australian tour for the Spice Girls is looking increasingly likely with word all the major touring companies have put in offers to bring the British girl group Down Under.
Confidential understands major promoters including Live Nation are doing their best to lure the Wannabe singers here off the back of sold out shows across the UK this month.
“Offers have been made and they are all very good,” a source told Confidential.
“They’ve been in discussions for a while.”

Scary Spice Mel B set the ball rolling with talk of an Australian tour by announcing at the end of the girls final London show last week that they will join forces again in February.
“We’ll see you in February in Australia,” Mel B said at London’s Wembley Arena, later backtracking on the comments by saying the tour isn’t yet locked in.
A number of high profile Australian journalists, including Carrie Bickmore and Lisa Wilkinson, have recently been in London to conduct interviews, which also set tongue’s wagging.
“No interviews have happened yet, it is far too early,” said another insider.
“Spice Girls management were waiting to lock everything in until after the UK tour wrapped.”
Confidential understands it is a done deal but is really dependent upon which tour promoter the group go with and also their schedules.
February next year suggests it will be a stadium tour. Promoters usually scout for stadiums before they are overtaken by winter sporting fixtures.
One thing is certain — Victoria ‘Posh Spice’ Beckham won’t be in the classic girl group line-up with Scary Spice joining Geri ‘Ginger’ Horner, Melanie ‘Sporty’ Chisholm and Emma ‘Baby’ Bunton on the recent tour.
“I expected her to come and just say ‘hi’ at least … not even on stage, just as an audience member supporting,” Mel B told ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain when asked about Beckham, adding when asked why she didn’t attend: “I don’t know — I’m sure she has her reasons. I’ve already said I was upset, I still am a little bit.”
