As far as bromances go, Terry Crews and an Aussie beer magician who met at a TV talent contest is pretty random.
Dom Chambers, contestant on this season of America’s Got Talent, is giddy about the friendship that has blossomed between him and the muscular AGT host since he made it through round one this month.
“(He is) The best!” Chambers gushed to Confidential.
“He sent out a tweet while I was on air saying ‘I just want to hang out with @domchambers’ and that was the highlight of my life. He’s so great, he’s as great as you think he’s going to be.”
Chambers impressed judges Simon Cowell, Julianne Hough, Gabrielle Union and Howie Mandel, earning four “yes” votes for his quirky beer and wine related magic tricks.
Making schooners full of beer appear from empty paper bags, up his sleeve and even in his boots, Chambers’ act was quirky and cheeky but still mind-boggling.
He even performed the sacred Aussie tradition of a “shoey” onstage, which Crews also tweeted about.
“How much to drink beer from a shoe? #shoey #AGT” Crews posted along with a video of Chambers performing the unsanitary act with aplomb.

In typical larrikin style, Chambers challenged Crews to do a shoey with him if he wins the show — in addition to the $1 million prize money on offer.
His round-two performance will be shown on Foxtel in the coming month, along with the rest of the acts vying for first prize.
