After declaring she still loves shock jock Kyle Sandilands, ex-girlfriend Imogen Anthony has had a thinly veiled dig at the controversial radio host.
With 48-year-old Sandilands escaping to Cairns with former assistant girlfriend Tegan Kynaston, Anthony first hinted she too might be heading to far north Queensland for a holiday before sharing her hopes for 2020.
“We’re hydrated, having good sex with people who deserve us, eating veggies, hiking, leaving behind toxic relationships, communicating our feelings, saying no, respecting animals, spoiling ourselves with love,” Anthony posted on Instagram.
Earlier she shared another message that could be taken as a message for her ex.
“You can rise up from anything,” she wrote. “You can completely recreate yourself. Nothing is permanent. You’re not stuck. You have choices. You can think new thoughts. You can learn something new. You can create new habits. All that matters is that you decide today and never look back.”
Anthony’s social media posts come 24 hours after the 28-year-old former bikini model appeared to take a swipe at Kynaston in a video posted online in which she referenced an unnamed person with “mental issues”.
Sandilands meanwhile, escaped to Cairns with Kynaston to celebrate her 34th birthday.
The pair put on a united front as they were photographed flying out of Sydney with a spokesperson for Sandilands refusing to comment on the trip “due to privacy and security concerns”.
The trip comes after the two were involved in a roadside dispute resulting in the glamorous King Kyle communications director allegedly damaging his $350,000 Bentley.
Police were called to Beach Road, Bondi at Sandilands request early on Saturday morning.
Kynaston was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital for a mental health assessment before being charged with assault for allegedly slapping a responding police officer.
It has since been revealed Kynaston was serving an 18-month bond for cocaine possession when she allegedly struck the female police officer.
Court documents reveal Kynaston was caught with 0.45 grams of cocaine in Surry Hills last year.
No conviction was recorded.
