Justin Hemmes’ ex Kate Fowler lands new fashion gig with AJE

Mum, model and designer Kate Fowler, who has two young daughters with her former partner, Merivale boss Justin Hemmes, has signed on to collaborate with upscale fashion label AJE.

Kate Fowler has found her groove and is easing back into the working world.
The model/designer, who has two young daughters with her ex, Merivale boss Justin Hemmes, has signed on to collaborate with upscale fashion label AJE.

“A few brands like AJE which I would naturally gravitate toward anyway have approached me to collaborate a little bit,” notoriously private Fowler said.

“Our girls are getting older so it is a nice way to get back into work.

“AJE is a powerhouse. They create beautiful, timeless, elegant pieces so it was really fun to try them all on.”

Fowler, who shares custody of her daughters Saachi, 3 and Alexa 4, with Hemmes after the pair split in 2018, said if their girls’ happiness is anything to go by, the pair are nailing co-parenting.

“The girls go to Justin every second weekend and I know they have a great time there,” she said.

“They often go down the south coast with him and have the most amazing time.”
