Adelaide United midfielder Nikola Mileusnic had a magic moment at the gym working out with Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter blockbuster movie series.
The in-demand winger, 25, was spotted at the club’s Elizabeth headquarters training on a stationary bike last week in an effort to recover from an ankle ligament injury.
Bumping into the world’s most famous wizard might change his spell of bad luck and get him back fronting for the Reds again this season.
“Massive win today on the road to recovery. #theboywholived,” Nikola captioned the pic, referencing the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first of J.K. Rowling’s popular children’s novels about a boy wizard.
Daniel slipped into town on Sunday to prepare for production on his new movie, Escape From Pretoria, which starts filming next month.
It’s not the first time he’s been here. He filmed December Boys, alongside Teresa Palmer , in 2007.
