Adelaide radio ratings: David Penberthy and Will Goodings back on top of breakfast

ABC local radio presenter Ali Clarke has lost her top spot to FIVEaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings in Adelaide’s crucial breakfast radio battle.
David and Will took the 1.5 points Ali lost, to take the lead with 14.2 over Ali’s 12.7.
Ali has won five of the eight surveys this year, losing to David and Will twice. She also shared the No.1 spot with Mix 102.3 in the first survey for 2019.
It sounds like listeners are enjoying tuning in to Channel 7’s Jessica Adamson who has teamed up with Mark Soderstrom for Mix breakfast, while Jodi Oddy’s on maternity leave.
Jessica and Mark have retained the station’s third place in the brekky race on 12.1 after a 0.7 gain.
Meanwhile, in this eighth and final radio ratings survey for 2019, Mix is back in business as Adelaide’s No.1 station overall.
The station had been buoyed by 27 consecutive wins up until the last survey when it lost to Nova by a mere 0.1 of a point.
But this survey, Mix has rebounded to the top spot after a 1.7 gain to finish the year with 13.6 per cent of the local audience share.
Losing one point, Nova is in second place with 11.0, followed by FIVEaa which is up 0.6 to 10.9 to be the third highest rating station overall.
While ABC Adelaide was in fourth place last survey, it has fallen a further point to sixth spot at 9.0.
Fellow AM station Cruise1323 is finishing the year in fourth place on 9.6 thanks to a 0.2 gain, while on the FM band Hit 107 is in fifth position on 9.3 after a 0.3 loss.
