Move aside Tex Walker, Bernie Vince has a new “best mate”.
The popular ex-Crow and his wife Abbie have welcomed their first child, a baby boy called Harvey.
“My new best mate! Harvey Timothy … Mum was unbelievable!” the recently-retired Vince wrote on social media.
Abbie, inset with Vince, shared a photo of her husband with their new bundle of joy, above, and added: “Our beautiful boy. We could not be more in love xxx”.
Former Crows teammate Walker, a groomsman at Vince’s wedding, was one of the first to congratulate the couple, who tied the knot in 2017.
The 2009 Crows Club champion, Vince played 129 matches for the Crows. He was traded to Melbourne following the 2013 season and played 100 games for the Demons.
