Adelaide’s Kelli Foran had the best seat in the house as British megastar Robbie Williams serenaded her during a concert in the US.
Foran was sitting alone in the front row of Williams’ latest show in Las Vegas, when she caught the eye of the charismatic singer.
“He said, ‘Hello there don’t you look lovely. Are you here on your own?’ And I said, ‘Yes’,” she recalled.
Williams charmed Foran with a special version of Radiohead’s hit song Creep but later in the show he took things to the next level.
“I heard Robbie say ‘Let’s get that lovely lady up here’. As I looked up to see what was going on I realised he was pointing at me,” she said.
“Security shuffled me on stage and I about died at that point. Robbie Williams was holding my hand!”
After finding out Foran was from Adelaide, the Angels singer told her: “Do you know why I like Adelaide? Cause it’s full of bogans and I like bogans.”
Williams then serenaded Foran with Somethin’ Stupid, at times sitting in her lap, ruffling her hair and even slow dancing together.
“Then he got on one knee and sang the bit about ‘I love you’,” she said. “He could see how nervous I was and I was tearing up as he looked at me. He said, ‘It’s all right love’. “At the end of the song … we hugged and he thanked me and a dancer took me back to my seat.
“I feel like I have a new best friend, who just happens to be the sexiest man alive.”
