AFTER six years of competing, Adelaide bodybuilder Kwame Duah has hit the jackpot with his Musclemania world title

CONGRATULATIONS are in order for 23-year old Adelaide body builder Kwame Duah, who has been named the Overall Musclemania Professional World champion in Las Vegas this weekend.

“I’m not sure where to start but I’m still in awe and cannot be more thankful,” Kwame says.

“It was a great competition with a tough line-up.

“It was an amazing opportunity to be on stage with spectacular people from all over the world.

“I wouldn’t have been able to get where I am today without all the help I received along the way.”

Kwame, who Sunday Mail readers may remember from last year when he starred as the Hulk in our Marvel Comics promotion, has been competing for six years, starting just after he left school at the age of 18.

At the time he was training at least 20 hours a week.

“The diet can be tough,” he admits. “I have had nights out with my friends where I have snuck out to go eat in the car, but I do enjoy life as well.

“I eat clean – but I do have a cheat day every now and then. There needs to be flexibility in everyone’s diet.”

But hopefully this week, Kwame can enjoy his win and soak up his new world title.

“This trophy doesn’t belong to just me but also everyone who has supported me throughout my preparation for the MM Pro World Championships,”
he says.
