WONDER Woman star Gal Gadot has announced she is pregnant with her second child, ahead of the much-anticipated film’s release in June next year.

WONDER Woman star Gal Gadot has announced she is pregnant with her second child.

The star posted a snap of her and husband Yaron Versano holding her tiny bump on Instagram with the caption: “So excited to share this wonder with you…#mommyforthesecondtime”

In the black and white snap the pair held their hands in a shape of a heart while the star actress beamed with pride to share the news, The Sun reports.

Gal, 31, who is currently Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, already has four-year-old daughter Alma with her husband, who she tied the knot with in 2008.

The couple have been together since 2008 and still look as loved up as ever as she frequently shares their home life on Instagram.

Yaron, who Gal praised as “the best man” owns a successful hotel in Tel Aviv.

Talking to Glamour magazine about her husband, she said: “I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without him. Family still has to be the first priority. I have to do what’s good for my child.”

She’s going to need a maternity corset.

She also refers to little Alma as “the love of her life” - and credits her for one of the reasons why she is proud to play Wonder Woman.

Gal previously recalled her daughter telling her: “[Princesses] always fall asleep and the prince is the one to wake them up. They do nothing!”

Gal and Yaron’s latest addition to the family will co-incide with her first leading film Wonder Woman in June next year.

During filming, Gal’s mother travels with her so the tot is never in the care of nanny and admitted: “Fame means I have to be very organised. But being a mother means getting up early in the morning even if you’re tired because that’s your responsibility.

“I worry that I should always be doing more and spend more time with Alma even when I’m working. I try to do the best I can.

“My mother and my daughter travel with me, so when I’m on the set, my mother will look after Alma and that gives me comfort.”

She also gushed about her responsibilities as a mother and added: “I was thinking about whether I should wait to have children when my acting career was more settled, but then I thought that if you’re more successful, you’re working even more, so that wouldn’t be the best time either.

“I’m very happy being a mother and as soon as you begin raising your child, you feel this incredible love and happiness that is different from anything else you’ve ever experienced.”
