Australian TV presenter Narelda Jacobs and her wife Karina Natt have welcomed their first baby together, a daughter named Sanna.

The longtime Ten personality, 49, made the announcement on her Instagram today, revealing that “mums and dad are in awe and totally in love.”

Karina, 38, carried the baby and had kept friends and family updated on the progress of her pregnancy via social media in recent months. The baby’s biological father has not been publicly revealed.

Sanna is Jacobs’ second child: She also has an adult daughter named Jade Dolman, who works as an acclaimed mural artist in Perth under the name JD Penangke.

The couple’s well-known friends were quick to offer messages of support under the birth announcement.

“What joy! Congratulations mums and dad!” wrote fellow Ten star Melissa Leong.

“Welcome darling one, you’re so loved!” wrote body positivity activist April Hélène-Horton.

Jacobs and her political advisor wife wed in August last year, in a star-studded ceremony in Sydney. One friend in attendance, ABC journalist Jeremy Fernandez, dubbed the event the “Wedding Of The Year!”

The wedding came 18 months after Jacobs made their relationship Instagram-official with a sweet photo of them kissing.
