Channel 10 journalist Narelda Jacobs has debuted her new girlfriend.
The 47-year-old TV presenter took to Instagram to announce the exciting life update, revealing she’s dating Karina Natt, who is the chief of staff for Senator Sarah Hanson-Young.
In a sweet photo, the couple could be seen kissing during World Pride celebrations in Sydney, with Jacobs revealing they went on their first date on February 23.
“Can’t ignore the numbers. First date 23/02/2023. 1 month later 23/03/23. #loveislove,” Jacobs wrote alongside the snap.
While it’s the first time Jacobs has solely dedicated a post to her relationship with Natt, the political adviser has appeared in Jacobs’ various videos over the past few weeks highlighting World Pride events in Sydney earlier this month.
Natt, who lives in Adelaide, is a senior political adviser, and on her LinkedIn page, describes herself as having “a passion for equality and social and environmental justice and strongly believe in politics as a vehicle for change”.
Jacobs, who came out aged 21, was previously in a long-term relationship with local filmmaker Stevie Cruz-Martin, the pair having moved from Perth to Sydney together in early 2020.
It is not known when the former couple called it quits, though it is thought to have been in the last few months.
Cruz-Martin last posted about Jacobs in late November, where she uploaded a gushing tribute in honour of her birthday.
“Kind and powerful soul,” Cruz-Martin began. “You are a force Jacobs, in the most exquisite of ways. Happy birthday darling heart, raising a glass for you today and every day babe.”

Cruz-Martin then documented spending New Year’s Eve on her own, with Jacobs commenting on the post, “Happy new year my love.”
Meanwhile, Jacobs’ last Instagram post about Cruz-Martin was a birthday tribute she posted in December, in which she described her then-girlfriend as having the ability to make people feel like they “can take on the world.”
“Stevie’s only motivation is to see you at your best. A true leader with boundless love & creativity,” Jacobs wrote at the time. “Happy birthday darling one.”
