Victoria Beckham has almost completely removed the tattoo she shares with husband David
THE Beckhams are no strangers to getting tattoos but it seems like Victoria has started to shun her family’s love of them, even ones that pay tribute to her husband.
VICTORIA Beckham’s neck tattoo dedicated to husband David is almost gone — as it was revealed when she wore a backless jumpsuit to a charity bash on Friday evening.
The 43-year-old showed off the faded design as she attended the Breast Cancer Research Foundation event in New York, The Sun reports.
She looked stunning as she pulled her hair up into a high bun and accessorised with a pair of dangling diamond earrings.
Victoria, who is mum to four children, got the Hebrew phrase tattooed on her neck for her sixth wedding anniversary and runs down to her back in a vertical line.
David has a matching one on his arm.
Her neck tattoo has been fading for some time, and many have questioned whether she is having laser treatments to remove it.
She is believed to have received the tattoo in around 11 years ago.
Beckwhen was first photographed with the tattoo in 2006 after her dramatic haircut revealed the back tattoo.
The tattoo reads “Ani l’dodi li va’ani lo haro’eh bashoshanim”, which translates to “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”.
The phrase is believed to have come from from the Hebrew poem Shir Ha’shirim, meaning “Song of Songs”.
This isn’t the only tattoo of Victoria’s that has faded.
The wrist tattoo, also dedicated to her husband, has almost entirely vanished.
Another Brit attending the Breast Cancer Research Foundation bash was Liz Hurley, who wore an eye-catching bubblegum pink gown to the event.
Her one-shouldered dress was accessorised with a glittery belt pulled in around the waist.
