SOMETIMES a statement necklace isn’t enough to jazz up an outfit on the red carpet and you need to kick out a statement leg.

Angelina Jolie made this trick famous at the Oscars in 2012 when she slipped a stem out of her black gown and became an instant meme in the process. And since then a number of stars have borrowed the move.

Nicole Kidman is known to occasionally pull a stem-slip every now and then. But when she attended the second annual InStyle Awards last night in Los Angeles, she went totally full throttle with the statement leg.

While the Oscar winner was joined by her husband Keith Urban, the couple chose to walk the red carpet separately, perhaps to give Nicole’s leg the attention it deserves.

The Moulin Rouge! star did a low-key pin-slip earlier this month on the red at the London premiere of her flick Lion.

And we’re hoping she keeps the statement accessory for years to come.
