IF MILEY Cyrus is sick of being told to blow kisses at creepy paparazzi, we don’t blame her.

All power to the young American singer who has elaborated on comments about why she’s no longer doing red carpets.

Already an accomplished singer, songwriter, actress and coach for The Voice, it’s not surprising the paparazzi practically salivate at getting a red carpet photo of the young star.

InElle’s October issue, Cyrus explained why she would be boycotting red carpets for good.

“Why, when people are starving, am I on a carpet that’s red? Because I’m important? Because I’m ‘famous’? That’s not how I roll. It’s like a skit — like Zoolander.”

The singer again emphasised why she quit the spectacle when she appeared on the American version of The Today Showon Friday morning.

Her appearance was mainly to discuss her work on The Voice and on the new Amazon series Crisis in Six Scenes, by Woody Allen.

Today Show host Carson Daley asked the 23-year-old if they should change the colour of the carpet to which she told him, “it’s really not about the colour of the carpet, it’s more about, especially women, we get yelled at to blow them a kiss”.

The singer continued, “I don’t feel like blowing you a kiss ... like what’s going on? Who are you? And then you’re just kind of putting yourself out there for people to talk.”

The starlet is no stranger to being talked about — especially when dressed in one of her controversial outfits.

“I don’t want people to talk about what I’m wearing. That’s why I don't normally wear too much,” she said.

She added the only reason she had covered herself for the interview was because shows like The Voice and The Today Show have said she has to.

The singer admitted she doesn’t like wearing many clothes normally.

The young singer’s boycott of the age old Hollywood tradition of red carpets is just another example of her not caring what people think about her.

Cyrus also appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show on Friday to perform a version of Bob Dylan’s, Baby, I’m In the Mood for You.

Halfway through her performance she started speaking to the audience.

“Let’s give it up for Jimmy Fallon, who is always so much fun — unless you’re Donald Trump — and don’t even think about messing with my hair, I’m serious.”

The comment came after Fallon received a more than 2000 percent increase in Twitter hate after tousling Trump’s hair in an interview.

People are clearly still reeling from the interview because her speech was met with dead silence from the audience.
