Meghan Markle wears $2.6K outfit from Victoria Beckham for return to London with Harry amid Megxit

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were met with a loud boo as they made one of their final appearances where she was wearing a $2600 dress as the fallout from Megxit continues.

Meghan and Harry arrive for one of their last official engagements

Meghan Markle has made a stylish return to London with Prince Harry amid the “Megxit” drama, wearing a form-fitting outfit by Victoria Beckham.

The royal couple were met with mostly cheers - and one loud boo - from an onlooker, as they stepped out on one of their final apperances as “working royals”.

The former Suits star, 38, sported the $A2649 midi-length blue dress with a pair of pointed Manolo Blahnik stilettos and a Stella McCartney clutch, with her hair in a sleek long ponytail and a middle part.

It was a very British look for the Duchess of Sussex, with Beckham and McCartney two of England’s most celebrated designers.

McCartney famously designed the halter neck dress Meghan wore to her wedding reception in May 2018.

Meantime, Meghan and Harry received a mixed reception as they arrived for one of their final royal engagements in London, before they leave as full-time royals.

One angry local booed the couple as they arrived at London’s Mansion House early on Friday morning, Australia- time, to host the Endeavour Fund Awards, honouring ex-service men and women for achievements in sporting and adventure.

Despite the pair being met mainly by cheers from the crowd braving the horrible weather, one onlooker wasn’t happy to see the couple, yelling “boo” as they left their car.

There were audible gasps in the crowd as the person jeered before Prince Harry and Meghan’s fans screamed, “We love you Harry and Meghan”.

The Duchess of Sussex smiled at supporters and said “thank you” as the couple escaped the rain for Mansion House.

Prince Harry and Meghan will spend the next few days fulfilling their final royal duties across the UK.

London local Malicia Johnson, 26, said she was there “just to cheer them on”.

“It would be nice for them to know that there’s a lot of UK support for them,” she said, an hour before the couple arrived.

“I would never normally stay outside in the fricken horrible weather but I thought I’d chance it and see how it goes.”

Canadian Holly Amudsen, 28, front row to see the couple, said they were welcome any time in Canada.

“It’s kind of our last chance to see them in their royal duties so I figured I’d brave the rain and come and see them,” she told News Corp Australia.

American Emily Stembridge, 20, said she respected Harry for “standing up for his wife and his son”.

“I think that Diana would be proud of them and I love Diana and I think it’s the right thing for their family,” she said.

Others were less happy with the arrangement outside Mansion House, where police had cordoned off a busy thoroughfare.

“How am I supposed to get to the station?” furious London commuters grumbled every minute as police turned them away.

The couple’s final event as working royals will be on Monday at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, which they will attend with the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William and Kate.

Earlier in the day, the Duchess of Sussex had been rugged up in a chic camel coat and a $A1200 pair of Aquazzura black heels as she left the $A16,000-a-night Goring Hotel - also said to be a favourite of the Queen.

The hotel, which is just minutes from Buckingham Palace, was where Meghan’s sister-in-law, Kate, and the rest of the Middleton family, stayed the night before her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

Prince Harry was also seen exiting the hotel as a staff member held an umbrella over his head to avoid the rain.

The couple has five days of official engagements, which will be their last as full-time royals.

When they jet off from London early next Tuesday, it’s unclear when they will be back as they continue to set up their new life in Canada.

Baby Archie has been a no-show this week, with the couple leaving him behind in Canada.

The Queen, who had lunch with her grandson at Windsor Castle last week, has reportedly left the door open for them to return to the royal family.

They have been given a 12-month probation period for their new deal, where they aim to become financially independent.

The Sun reported that royal sources said Prince Harry was feeling “emotional” as he approached his final round of royal engagements.

At his first engagement back in the UK, the Duke of Sussex said, “just call me Harry” as he appeared at an eco-tourism conference in Scotland.

Meghan and Prince Harry were last in the UK together in January before the terms of their Megxit were agreed.

Part of the Megxit deal means the couple won’t be using the term royal, meaning they will have to rename their Sussex Royal website and Instagram account.

However, Prince Harry will remain sixth-in-line to the throne and retain his HRH status – although he won’t use it.

He must also ditch his honorary military positions for at least 12 months before the Queen reviews the deal.

As well as the appearance at the Endeavour Fund Awards at Mansion House, the couple will be at Saturday’s Mountbatten Festival of Music at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
