Jennifer Lopez’s awkward fashion fail at Dolce & Gabbana show

Jennifer Lopez’s spectacular royal-inspired look was almost perfect at the Dolce & Gabbana runway show – except for one crucial detail.

Jennifer Lopez has made a rare fashion misstep while dressed in head-to-toe glam as she stepped out for Dolce & Gabbana’s fashion show in Venice.

The 52-year-old singer looked striking in her royalty-inspired getup – complete with a glittering golden headpiece, bejewelled bustier and floor-length cape – for the Alta Moda show.

Paired with ruby and gold drop earrings and oversized gold rings, the whole look was almost perfection, bar one unintended accessory – the cape’s price tag.

The barcode was clearly visible, along with the numbers “335” – which, given the eye-watering average cost of a Dolce & Gabbana item, was unlikely to be indicating the price.

Unfortunately, we were robbed of any new Bennifer sightings in Italy, with Lopez’s on-again boyfriend, Ben Affleck, nowhere to be seen.

However, the high-profile event – held within Venice’s iconic St Mark’s Square – attracted plenty of other celebs, including supermodel Heidi Klum and Dame Helen Mirren.

Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Kitty Spencer – fresh from her decadent multimillion-dollar wedding last month – was also in attendance, along with Avatar actor Zoe Saldana.

Oscar-winning actor and singer Jennifer Hudson performed at the event, after presumably spotting Lopez’s fashion faux pas upon arrival (unconfirmed).

The extravagant runway show featured more than 100 different looks by the prestigious Italian label, with luscious silks, brocades, velvets, glass, crystals, feathers and gilded metal all making an appearance.
