Donald Trump Jr and Kimberly Guilfoyle are engaged

The son of the former US president has announced he’s been engaged for a year after popping the question on New Year’s Eve 2020.

Donald Trump Jr and Kimberly Guilfoyle are headed to the altar, having been engaged for a year, a source close to both of them said.

The source confirmed to Page Six on Monday that Trump Jr popped the question on New Year’s Eve 2020 – just over a year ago.

Guilfoyle, 52, a Fox News correspondent and former adviser to her fiance’s father when he was in the Oval Office, sparked engagement rumours on Saturday when she was seen wearing a massive diamond ring in a photo she posted to Instagram on Saturday.

“Tonight was extra special celebrating @donaldjtrumpjr’s birthday,” she captioned the picture of herself and Trump Jr, 44, standing in front of a Christmas tree.

“Don, you are strong, smart, courageous, funny and the love of my life. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Love you.”

“Don and Kim got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2020 – which is Don’s birthday. They’ve been together for almost four years now and have been friends for 15 years,” an insider told the Daily Mail.

“They’ve kept it private for the past year as they settled into life in Florida after moving from New York,” the source said. “Both are focused on their children – they have six between them – and their work.”

The news comes as little surprise. Guilfoyle opened up about already feeling married to Trump Jr in February 2021, saying at the time: “Being his wife would be something that, of course, would be something that I think would be fantastic. I absolutely adore the family … I already feel married to him.”

The couple have been dating since 2018.

Page Six first broke the news that Trump Jr was dating Guilfoyle in May 2018 after his ex-wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce. He and Vanessa have five children together.

Meanwhile, Guilfoyle was married to businessman Eric Villency from 2006 to 2009. They have a son together.

Prior to that, she was married to former San Francisco Mayor and current California Governor Gavin Newsom for four years until separating in 2005. She was also briefly linked to Anthony Scaramucci in 2017 after he separated from his wife, Deidre Ball.

Representatives for Guilfoyle and Trump Jr did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
