Candice Swanepoel takes a tumble on Givenchy runway

THE hottest fashion trend this season may just be a pair of grazed knees. Just ask supermodel Candice Swanepoel.

THE hottest fashion trend this season may just be a pair of grazed knees.

Striding down the catwalk for French luxury designer Givenchy, supermodel Candice Swanepoel, 26, tripped in her high heels and face-planted on Friday night.

Front-row attendees helped the fallen Victoria’s Secret supermodel, despite her attempts to brush them away.

The South African stunner gave an embarrassed bow to the audience after the tumble, before finishing her strut past celebs that included Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj and Anna Wintour.

“Thank you to whoever picked me up off the runway tonight,” she wrote on Instagram after the show, sharing a photo of her injuries. “Left with little scratches but mostly a bruised ego.”

At the same show, model Pooja Mor flopped on wooden stairs in the middle of the runway.

The Givenchy show was particularly star-studded as the fashion house didn’t have a catwalk show in Paris this season.

Swanepoel handled it like a pro.
