It’s been a big question for months now – and sources close to the Duchess of Sussex have finally revealed the answer.

More details have finally been shared about exactly when Meghan Markle plans to officially launch her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

According to People magazine, the big rollout is slated for later this year, with an insider explaining that the Duchess of Sussex has been “busy working behind the scenes to prepare”.

The source also denied recent reports that the delay in its unveiling was due to Meghan’s alleged difficulties in finding a CEO amid her and Prince Harry’s high staff turnover.

Meghan soft-launched the homewares and lifestyle brand earlier this year, but appeared to lose momentum in the months that followed.

Royal author Tom Quinn claimed to The Mirror in June that she had been “having difficulties finding staff” as she wanted them to be “full of their own ideas” while also being “compliant to her wishes.”

The duchess unveiled ARO in March with a cryptic teaser video and vague details, shared on a new, official Instagram page.

Further information about the brand was revealed afterwards, with the announcement that the brand would focus on kitchen and homeware goods, selling oils, butters, jams and preserves, home fragrances and furnishings.

Part of the initial PR push included a lavish package of jams, accessorised with lemons, which were delivered to a carefully-curated list of 50 highly influential and high-net worth friends.

The news about Meghan’s brand launch comes just one day after her husband, Prince Harry, announced he will be making a solo trip to New York City next month, just weeks after the couple’s four-day Colombia tour.

The Duke of Sussex is set to attend a series of engagements related to his patronages and charity associations, coinciding with the UN General Assembly High-Level Week and Climate Week.

During his stay, he will meet with representatives from African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst, according to his spokesman.

Harry will also be weaving in promotion for The Archewell Foundation, the philanthropic division of his and Meghan’s company, which they founded after leaving royal duties in 2020.
