'It's an insult': Thousands trapped on streets named after disgraced Prince Andrew
Thousands of residents are facing costly legal hurdles and bureaucratic red tape to correct an 'embarrassing' Prince Andrew issue.
Thousands of people are stuck living on streets named after disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Many want to change their street names after the former prince was stripped of his titles by his brother, the King.
But they have to petition their council, seek permission from the emergency services and Royal Mail and face Land Registry legal fees, The Sun reports.

“It’s embarrassing. If you order something or tell someone where you live, there are raised eyebrows,” said a resident on Prince Andrew Road in Maidenhead.
“I’m glad we don’t plan to stay here. We wouldn’t want any association,” said another on Prince Andrew’s Road in Norwich, which is near Prince Andrew’s Close.
“It should be changed. It’s an insult,” added another, this time from Prince Andrew Road in Broadstairs.
Andrew was stripped of his titles over his ties to paedo Jeffrey Epstein.
Other roads named after him include Prince Andrew Drive in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, and Prince Andrew Way in Ascot, Berks.
However, most people living in Prince Andrew’s Close in Norwich do not want the change.
Councillor Shelagh Gurney said: “I had some comments asking if it could be changed.
