Pop singer’s ex moves on with star, 31

A hugely famous pop singer’s ex husband is dating someone new after their recent public separation.

For a hot second, you may have forgotten that Ariana Grande used to be married to real estate agent Dalton Gomez, but there’s been an update worthy of reminding everyone about their short-lived romance.

After her public relationship with comedian Pete Davidson, Grande, 30, pursued love with Gomez, 28.

While not famous in the same way, he’s a luxury real estate agent who runs in Hollywood circles.

The two got together during the pandemic, and unlike her previous romances, they weren’t really a tabloid fixture, but as it was during the height of Covid, so no one was really leaving their houses.

The couple married in 2021 and announced it was over in March 2024.

After the two separated, Grande began dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, who had just broken up with his wife, Lily Jay, with whom he shares a young son.

There’s been plenty of speculation about the timeline of her new relationship, but Grande coyly denied the rumours when she appeared on The Zach Sang Podcast.

“I feel like we don’t need to go into any specifics, but, of course, there’s like an insatiable frustration, inexplicable, hellish feeling with watching people, misunderstand the people you love and you and anything,” she said.

That drama aside, Gomez has kept a relatively low profile since they split despite the hysteria surrounding their break-up.

Assumedly, he has just been doing what real estate agents do: selling houses while wearing suits.

Now it seems he has also moved on but with someone famous. I mean not Ariana-Grande-famous, but who is? But still someone that has chosen a career in front of the camera.

Grande’s ex is dating 31-year-old actor Maika Monroe, who is best known for starring in the horror film It Follows.

She has more than 200,000 Instagram followers, and launched their romance by posting a photo of them snuggled up on a boat, which is very much what you’d imagine real estate agents do when they fall hopelessly in love.

There’s also a sweet photo of them kissing on the street, with Monroe keeping some mystery and didn’t add a caption to her photos.

As for Grande, she appears to still be dating Slater and the pair were just spotted over the weekend attending an ice hockey game together and seemed in great spirits.
