THIS series of sketches presented by two women resembles performances by my high school drama class.
The sketches clumsily chopped and changed from one to the next, requiring swift and differing character change from the performers. However, they fell short of conviction of their characters.
I could see their intention with many of the jokes, but some were drawn out and others were skipped over so quickly that I missed the point.
I like that awkward humour they were trying to convey, however, sometimes I was unsure whether their behaviour was awkward humour, nerves, or a mixture of both.
There were a few of minor slip-ups which weren’t gracefully recovered, but as I attended on the opening night this might improve with experience.
