Budding cooks, or anyone looking for a fun activity to do at home with their partner or family, can now have Callum Hann or Themis Chryssidis teach them to make a range of uncomplicated, nourishing dishes, via the internet.
The concept is simple: browse through a range of savoury and sweet dishes on Sprout’s website, and either purchase the class on its own (if you have the ingredients or want to purchase them separately) or order the ingredient box to have everything delivered to your door.
Classes start from $5 and meals cost as little as $8 per serving. Dishes range from the Italian-inspired ricotta gnocchi to Thai red prawn curry.

Speaking of activities to do in isolation, the guys behind Pizza e Mozzarella Bar and Chicco Palms have launched home pizza-making kits.
For $30 you’ll get four dough balls, mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil – enough to feed a family of four to five. Crank your oven up high and, presto, you’ll have traditional-style pizza in the comfort of your own home.
Check out the restaurants’ social media pages for tips on how to stretch the dough. Available for pick-up and limited delivery. pizzaemozzarellabar.com.au; chiccos.com.au
