Unley cafe A Mother’s Milk has opened a second site in the city.
A Mother’s Milk II on Pulteney St is offering a changing takeaway menu of brunch and lunch favourites, including a pulled-beef burger, toasties, fresh juices and coffee.
“We’ve adapted to takeaway-style meals enjoyed on the go,” says owner Tania Basheer. “Our chef prepares funky sandwiches, buns, wraps, salad and smoothie bowls daily.”
Sited near the new Calvary Wakefield Hospital in the east of the city, the 70-seat cafe has a similar homely vibe to the Unley cafe. “...rustic and warm with an organic feel and recycled timbers,” says Tania, who trained as an interior designer.
The new site is open 7am-4pm Mon-Sat, while Unley remains open seven days, 7.30am-3pm Mon-Fri and 8am-2pm on weekends.
