Married At First Sight star Stacey Lee Hampton has admitted she breached South Australian border restrictions at the height of the pandemic.
But Hampton, 27, was spared a conviction and had two other charges dropped.
Her case finalised during a closed hearing in the Adelaide Magistrates Court last week, more than a year after the charges were laid.
A magistrate fined her $1000, and ordered her to pay nearly $700 in additional court fees.
Hampton, of Gawler East, had earlier indicated she would contest the three counts of failing to comply with a direction.
The offences were alleged to have taken place in the suburbs of Hackney, Ingle Farm and Gawler East in May last year.
At the time of her arrest, police alleged Hampton should have been in self-isolation but left Adelaide in April.
They alleged she had returned on May 6 and was issued an on-the-spot fine at Adelaide Airport.
Then, despite being told to return directly to her nominated address, they alleged she “visited another address in the eastern suburbs” before continuing home.
“Later that same day, police attended the nominated address in the northern suburbs and discovered the woman was not present, and subsequently located her a short time later at another northern suburbs address,” police said last year.
At that time, essential travellers were allowed to enter South Australia without quarantining, but non-essential travellers were required to isolate for 14 days.
Each charge of failing to comply with a direction carries a maximum penalty of a $20,000 fine and two years in jail.
The mother-of-two found fame on the hit Channel 9 dating show last year, when she was matched with Michael Goonan. The pair later split.
