PRICES will start from $800,000 in a new luxury apartment project in Adelaide’s East End.
The $32 million development will overlook the city’s eastern parklands, rising six storeys from East Tce and comprising 14 two and three-bedroom apartments.
A four-bedroom penthouse will be priced at more than $4 million, and will include a theatre, private lobby, fireplace and cellar.
Adelaide-based family construction company Minuzzo Project Management has partnered with property, media and wine group Global Intertrade to deliver the project known as “217 East Tce”.
Minuzzo Project Management chief executive Garry Minuzzo said high-end purchasers, including empty nesters and professionals, would be targeted when the apartments go on sale on July 30.
With floorplans ranging in size up to 366 sqm, Mr Minuzzo said the apartments would be among the largest ever to be offered in Adelaide.
“East Tce is such a popular and tightly held location in the Adelaide CBD, so this is a rare opportunity to develop a premium new apartment project that will set a new benchmark for quality,” he said.
“These apartments will be immaculately presented with the highest possible standard of
fixtures and finishes, while another key selling point will be their huge size.”
Global Intertrade is backed by Spanish media mogul Javier Moll, and controls a significant portfolio of commercial property across Adelaide and vineyards in the Barossa Valley.
It also owns the Opinion Media group — publisher of The Adelaide Review.
Global Intertrade managing director Manuel Ortigosa said the company’s involvement in the project added “financial security” and provided confidence that it would be a “first-class development”.
“Having successfully invested in South Australian property for almost 30 years, Global
Intertrade is delighted to extend its portfolio with the upscale 217 East Tce development,” he
said.
The building has been designed by Adelaide-based architecture firm Aplin Cook Gardner, and will include a grand entrance lobby, underground car parking and basement storage.
Construction is expected to commence in October, before completion by mid-2020.
