The pandemic may have slowed travel, but the sector didn't completely shut down. New and remodelled hotels have cropped up from Botswana to Bali.

These are some of the best to put on your 2022 bucket list.

Shipwreck Lodge, Namibia

Off-grid and conservation-minded, Shipwreck Lodge is an eccentric beach hotel in the wilds of Namibia’s Skeleton Coast.
