AS Victoria slowly returns to what is now the new normal, riders were very excited to be back jumping at Boneo Park following an eight-month hiatus due to the pandemic.

More than 800 rounds were jumped over three days. Brook Dobbin once again had a large team of horses competing across two rings.

In the 1.40m championship, Dobbin rode Miranda MVNZ to jump double clear and win the class by over four seconds from second placed Paul Brent and Fontaine Blue VDL.

The 1.30m championship class was won by Courtney Shears and Clonic. Adam Johnson continued his success from Sale by winning the 1.35m jump-off class riding UP.

Second place went to Caitlin Clarke and Wyuna Park Stella T CH. The open 1.25m jump-off class was very strong but it was Tori Stuckey and Finch Farm Cab Sav that proved just too difficult to catch ahead of Jess Pateman and Volador.

Melissa Backman and Blackall Park Coloe won the 1.30m speed class, from Jamie Ellis and Centaur MVNZ. The 1.20m speed class was strong but it was Mia McNaught on Balloun who finished two seconds clear of Brook Dobbin and Carrado MVNZ.

Nar Nar Goon rider Kate Beadel rode Montey to win the 1.10m speed class from Sarah Moody and Cavelier Cudos. The 1m jump off class had over 50 starters but it was Samantha Richardson and Gold Play who held off Tanner Robinson and Shady Creek Blue Fire.

Jack Barber rode Mighty Tosca to-win the 1.04m speed class from Tanner Robinson and Bringmore.

Other winners included Makayla Schultz and Indi, Lacey Connley and Ronnie, Colin Dixon and Larry and Tahlia Purcell and Gretel Elmare.
